Teaching is not delivering content or solutions, instead it is to inform 'how to learn'! Hence, teaching the learning strategies and skills are more desired than teaching subject matters directly by the teachers. Introduce subject matter and let the learners to understand the content through different activities. I expect my students to be as active as possible. My lesson plan is to let them know about the content. Then they read, think, tell, discuss, ask, present and solve the questions. Finally, I provide feedback to my students.
“Student engagement is the product of motivation and active learning. It is a product rather than a sum because it will not occur if either element is missing.” - Elizabeth F. Barkley
