          School Freak's Blog

I am Mili Saha, though people call me a ‘school freak’ because I love to learn and teach. I am an Applied Linguist who has been working as an agent of instructional changes in higher education for almost thirteen years in Bangladesh. I studied Applied Linguistics & ELT at undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Dhaka, and I am studying Master of Education in Curriculum Studies & Teacher Development at OISE/UofT.

I have resumed my study because I wanted to update my teaching philosophies by learning about the contemporary policies and practices adopted around the world are. I wish to peruse my postgraduate research degree too. Every morning I start my day with a group of M.A. students specialising in Second Language Acquisition and English Language Teaching. Also, I keep in touch with my students via social media groups throughout the day.

I am neither a favourite in my community nor am I unsocial. I am just picky about friends, although I love to interact with people. However, I am always aware of the challenges including mental stress the learners go through at the undergraduate or graduate levels and engage myself in mentoring them when needed. My hobbies and interests in drawing and designing make my presentations unique with the colours I dream. My love for singing inspires me to employ multiple means of expression and communication.
